This week the first year medical students are learning and practicing the eye exam in their CPD small groups. This group of six students, known to their classmates as “Team Awesome”, dons protective eye wear after having their eyes dilated. They next paid a visit to the Ophthalmology Clinic where resident, Dr. Ryan Scruggs, taught them the basics of doing a good eye exam. They were then able to spend the rest of the afternoon practicing their ocular examination skills on one another, and hope that their eyesight would clear in time to study for their next day assignments!
