Another very new iphone app for anyone that is in a primary care setting. CORE - Clinical ORthopedic Exam. Close to 250 clinical tests used in a physical exam. There are videos, instructions, diagnostic test properties (reliability/validity) and PUBmed references for every test.

Yes it seems that even though the 3GS which includes hardware based encryption we need to do some more testing: https://www.healthsystem.virginia.edu/alive/Computing/forms/ServiceRequest/formSvcReq.cfm does not clarify how back hooking from jail brocken iPhones may disrupt the server. For security - this needs to be taken care of.

Yea, I think so, I've used it to help me decide which medical apps I should get. The site helped me pick out a medical spanish app and they do a good job of reviewing paid apps.

Right. The only disadvantage is you must still pay for calls to non-Skype numbers.

You can also modify the firmware of your iPod Touch to allow you to install or use other third party internet phone companies, but a headset and microphone is still required.

I think this is one of the better methods I have seen, as Skype allows free calls between users, making this a potentially free service for university students and other Skype users.

I think the blood pressure cuffs would be a perfect (and fun!)research study to test their reliability compared to standard cuffs.

Hi Elaine,
I was thinking about getting the blood pressure iPhone cuffs, but do you think these would be a safe and reliable test?
