Our Library subscribes to thousands of electronic journals, and provides seamless access to even more titles held by the other nine UVa Libraries. Despite this wealth of information at your fingertips, there will be times that you need a journal article or book that we do not own at UVa. ILLiad is an automated interlibrary loan system that routes your request to the closest participating library. Depending on the item, you might receive it the next day or within several days. There is no charge for “regular” ILLiad service, but it does require registration. I encourage you to register today for the Library’s ILLiad system and watch our library walls expand!
